Twenty-eight cameras are set up throughout five giant panda enclosures at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The cameras broadcast live feeds of the giant pandas 24 hours every day. Directors at the on-site television control room observe and switch between the different cameras, selecting the most interesting and clear views. The streamed videos reach every corner of the world through a global video distribution network, available to audiences any time and any place. Additionally, the panda channel provides a 30-minute video-on-demand program with panda documentaries and feature films produced by CCTV. Fans from around the world now have access to a virtual audio-visual feast of giant panda information just a click away.
